RockyviewRockyview is situated in a peaceful area of the Burren with spectacular views of the Burren hills, Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. The limestone hills are famous for it's wildflowers and wildlife. In Summer, Whitethroat, Wheatear, Stonechat and Cuckoo can be seen nearby and in Autumn many types of seabirds can be seen as they migrate south.

Proprietors Noel and Ita have a vast knowledge of the Burren area and are keen nature lovers and bird watchers and in the guest lounge there are many books and maps on the area.The start of the Burren Walking Way is 2 minutes from the B&B. These walks take one up the Burren Hills and one can spend hours walking in the Karst landscape and to observe the wonderful flora of the area. An experienced guide can be arranged for these walks if required.

Reached by a bridge from the mainland, Inish Beg (Irish for small island) is the most northerly of the Carbery Hundred Isles (which includes Cape Clear of birdwatching fame) and lies in the unspoilt tidal estuary of the Ilen River. The five cottages have either two or three bedrooms with excellent facilities. Enoy the use of a heated indoor swimming pool and excercise room. Birdwatching, boating and fishing trips available.
